After a first successful edition in Sydney last year, we took our very own industry event, F&B Leaders After Hours, to Melbourne last month.
We hosted an industry event in Sydney in 2023, and it was such a success decided to hold one in Melbourne last month. As expected, it was a fabulous gathering a whole host of hospitality folks in the same space.
We think it's incredibly important to share knowledge in person and that's why events like this matter - and give everyone so much energy.
Reconnecting with loyal customers and meeting new leaders in the space reminds us why we do what we do and helps us create a better future for the industry.
Featuring two panels, this event was an opportunity for us to hear what leaders in the industry need and want as well as share with them some best practices and inspiring insights.
After an introduction on the importance of digitising now, Adam Theobald, CEO of Ordermentum was joined on stage by Leon Kennedy, CEO of The Mulberry Group (Hazel, Dessous, Liminal, Common Ground Project, Lilac Wine Bar) to discuss what venues value in the wholesale ordering process and how to retain them.
The second panel featured Jodi Crocker, CEO of Wonder Pies and Mancel Hickey, CEO of St David’s Dairy who shared their experience with digitisation so far and what to do and not do to successfully prepare a wholesale business for the future.
Throughout the evening, guests got an opportunity to meet the people behind Ordermentum as well as other leaders in the industry while enjoying Half Acre’s premium drinks and food.
